Here Is the Full Ear Remedy I Mentioned

Mama's approach — what she used for anyone who came to her with ringing or muffled hearing...
The Remedy — two parts:
Part one — the ear oil:
To make mullein garlic ear oil:
  • Pack a small glass jar loosely with dried mullein flowers
  • Add two peeled, lightly crushed garlic cloves
  • Cover completely with olive oil
  • Leave to infuse in a warm spot (or a sunny windowsill) for two weeks, shaking daily
Strain through cheesecloth into a dropper bottle. Store at room temperature.

To use: warm the bottle in your hands for two minutes until the oil is body temperature. Tilt your head to the side, place two drops in the ear canal, and stay in that position for five minutes. Then tilt the other way to let it drain. Do this three nights in a row for acute ringing, or once a week for maintenance.

Mullein flowers reduce inflammation in the ear canal and support circulation to the surrounding tissue. Garlic oil is one of the strongest natural antibacterials — it addresses any microbial component that may be contributing to the inflammation. Together they have been used in Appalachian folk medicine for ear problems for as long as anyone can remember.

Part two — the daily support:
One tablespoon of pumpkin seeds and a small handful of dark leafy greens every single day — spinach, kale, or dandelion greens from the garden. These provide the magnesium and zinc that support auditory nerve function. Most people with persistent tinnitus are deficient in both.

Here is what I need to say honestly though.

The ear oil genuinely helps. People who use it consistently notice the ringing settling, the ear canal feeling clearer, and sleep improving. Mama used this for decades and so have I.

But the ringing that has become persistent and established — the kind that has been there for months or years — is not only an inflammation problem. At some point, the auditory nerve pathway itself becomes involved. It begins generating the signal independently, regardless of what is happening in the ear canal.

When that happens, reducing inflammation in the ear is still helpful — but it is not enough on its own. The nerve pathway needs direct support.

The video below explains what provides that. Watch it alongside using the ear oil.
